Domaine Pierre Vincent Vergelesses Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru 2023

The white Savigny premier cru Aux Vergelesses from Pierre Vincent’s new domaine demonstrates the potential of this climat for white grapes, with its evocative aromas of grapefruit and nectarine touched with a suggestion of hawthorn flowers and salty mineral notes. The grapes are from 0.7ha above Pernand’s Ile de Vergelesses; they are gently pressed as whole clusters and fermented in mostly used casks.
