Domdechant Werner Hochheimer Kirchenstück Trocken Riesling 2019

Pretty notes of spring blossom and sugar cookies introduce this intensely perfumed, floral white. Dry and voluptuously textured in style, it balances luminous, intensely concentrated lemon and white-grapefruit flavors against a steely backbone of acidity. Compared to the producer’s flagship Kirchenstück GG, it offers an ease and juiciness that’s delightful young but this is also a wine that should drink beautifully through 2030. Editors’ Choice.
