Featherstone Sauvignon Blanc 2023

This is a sauvignon for those who find NZ SB too aggressive and white Bordeaux too reserved. It holds to Featherstone’s lighter, lower alch style (12.5%) while presenting fairly generous pear/melon fruit, light minty herbality and lemon-lime. Acidity is very good, and there is a touch of bitterness on the finish. The length is very good to excellent as well. Tasted June 2024. Score – 90. (David Lawrason, winealign.com)
