The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé Le Clos Reyssier 1er Cru sports a heavy reduction on the nose that, at the moment, obscures the terroir. The palate is well-balanced with fine delineation. It’s taut, and the reduction is less pronounced towards the finish. There is a classy Pouilly-Fuissé here, but it will need time to unfurl. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting.
