Greywacke Marlborough Pinot Gris 2017

Light to mid-yellow colour. The bouquet is very ripe and rich, with exotic fruit aromas including spiced poached stone fruits and traces of passionfruit, pineapple and guava. The palate is full and rich, round and almost opulent, with gorgeous texture and harmony, a taste of lychee and a trace of sweetness enhancing its irresistible drinkability. It’s veering towards an Alsace vendange tardive style. Delicious! Drink date: 2020-2027. Ranked #1 of 57 The Real Review’s 2017 Pinot Gris from Marlborough. Score – 95.
