Jean Pabiot et Fils Domaine des Fines Caillottes Pouilly-Fumé 2022

‘Fines caillottes’ can be loosely translated to ‘fine pebbles’ and is a reference to the silex soil commonly found in Pouilly-Fumé. This form of sedimentary flint offers good drainage and encourages an unmistakable mineral-tinged character. This wine offers lovely aromas of white peach, chamomile and sage, with a flinty minerality on the finish.
