L’Avenir Single Block Chenin Blanc 2020

Veritable feast of flavour in 2020 – lemon, peach, apricot, hints of honey & rosemary – ably supported by spicy oak (barrel fermented, none new). Almond note shows delightful development, set to continue with lengthy lime finish. Even more lovely than 2019. Score – 95. (Platter’s South African Wine Guide, 2023)
