This example of the ‘other Burgundy white’ comes from 50-year-old vines grown in a complex mix of limestone, clay and silty soils. The wine spent 11 months in used French oak and is floral, concentrated and satiny, with pear and citrus tones atop toast and herbal notes. A good option for escargot or creamy prawn linguine. Drink through 2025.
