Marchand-Tawse Aligote 2022

This organic example of the ‘other white Burgundy’ comes from vines over a half-century old grown in a complex mix of limestone, clay and silty soils. The wine was matured in French oak and is floral, concentrated and satiny, with pear and citrus tones atop toast and herbal notes. A good option for escargot or creamy prawn linguine. Drink through 2027.
