Max Ferd. Richter Elisenberger Riesling Spätlese 2019

The 2019 Elisenberger Riesling Spätlese is very clear and concentrated on the dense and lime-fresh nose that is attractive in its precision, concentration and possibly also its cereal-tinged, crisp fruit aromas. Sweet and concentrated on the palate, this is a rich and very precise, tightly structured and persistent Spätlese with laser-sharp acidity that is imbedded into the dense, elegant and persistently salty Spätlese fruit. This is a great terroir wine?in 20 years?and I don’t see much sense in opening it a moment sooner. Score – 94. (Stephan Reinhardt, robertparker.com, Oct. 30, 2020)
