McGuigan Bin Series No. 9000 Semillon 2018

Since it was first made in 1995, this incredible Semillon (and others in the McGuigan portfolio) has won a swathe of awards – particularly when it gains rich, complex honey and toast notes about 10 years from vintage. So buy some bottles to squirrel away but enjoy a few now for the bone-dry, textural flavours of lime juice, lanolin and crisp apple. [Drink now through 2030+.] Score – 93.
