This green tinged and pale-yellow colored Chardonnay from Carneros opens with a mild oak and pear bouquet [with] hints of honey. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright, and fresh for a Chard. The flavor profile is a honeyed pear and golden delicious apple blend with notes of mild oak, nutmeg, and pineapple. I also detected hints of almond, white peach, and faint butterscotch. The finish is dry, and its flavors are nicely extended. I would pair this Chard with a lobster roll. Enjoy. [This will drink well through 2026+.] Score – 93. (Ken Hoggins, kenswineguide.com, Nov. 28, 2023)
