Cortese is grown throughout Piedmont, but the most notable expressions come from the calcareous-marl soils of Gavi. This elegant, fresh wine has notes of golden apple, honeydew melon, pear, peach, citrus, and white flowers, with some light herbal tones and a mineral-edged close.
