Queenston Mile Chardonnay VQA 2021

This is a very lean, almost sharp edged chardonnay packing quite intense flavours. The nose shows quite intense, compact lemon, apple, leesy/yeasty notes and subtle parmesan and nuttiness. It is medium bodied, racy and juicy, with very lemony acidity. The length is excellent. I thought of breaded calamari as a great match. Tasted July 2023. (David Lawrason,winealign.com)
