R de Rieussec 2024

This is the dry white wine of Château Rieussec in Sauternes. It’s made from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes grown in gravelly soils and harvested by hand, with the former picked early for freshness and vibrancy and the latter picked late for extra body and depth. Vinified in a 50-50 split of oak and steel, it’s floral and delicately oaky with notes of crunchy apple and pear. Drink through 2030.
