Romain Duvernay Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2019

The certified organic 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is a blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Clairette. Notes of crushed stone and barely ripe peaches mark the nose, backed by hints of honey and tangerine. It’s medium to full-bodied but not overly rich, instead remaining fresh and vibrant through the anise-tinged and citrusy finish. Drink date: 2020-2022. Score – 90.
