Rossetti Il Nostro Vin Santo del Chianti 2004

This wine is 40% Malvasia, 30% Trebbiano and 30% San Colombano. Grapes were dried on racks for two months before pressing, followed by ageing in barrel for three years. This perfumed, luxuriously mature Vin Santo shows deep amber in the glass, displaying a nectarous bouquet of dried figs, honey, toffee, mocha, and toasted almonds. Meant for pairing with your favourite fresh almond biscotti or soft, funky cheeses.
