Sigalas Santorini Assyrtiko 2022

This is a quite powerful, generous example of Santorini’s signature white. Very good intensity here with nuanced, complex aromas of chalky/flinty mineral, lemon and fresh herbs/evergreen. It is medium-full bodied, warm but not soft with power and edge. Quite lemony on the finish. The length is excellent. Tasted June 2017. (David Lawrason,winealign.com,June 29, 2017)
