Tawse Limestone Ridge Riesling 2024

Unique vintage for one of the most underrated riesling out of Ontario, an odd thing to think or say, and along with Limestone South the two represent incredible balance, fortitude and representation. Unique because of the dry, soda, scraped stone and lime opening. Also because the transition is abrupt into full lime juice intensity over green fruit like mango and granny smith apple. Many crunchy bits and while you intuit sweetness, in this case it seems to matter very little. Drink 2026-2030. Tasted April 2026. (Michael Godel,winealign.com)
