Tesselaarsdal Chardonnay 2023

Entrepreneur Berene Sauls, who also works at Hamilton Russell, sources her Chardonnay from the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, using the skills of Emul Ross in the cellar. Very lightly wooded in clay amphoras and older barrels, it’s a balanced, racy, acid-driven Chardonnay with notes of tangerine, pear and waxed lemons and a tangy finish. Drink date: 2025-2029.
