Château Saint-Pierre 2025

Really ripe and fragrant with some dried herbal accents. Lovely grip on the palate, filling tannins but really fresh and juicy giving a cool, minty, wet stone and blueberry aspect. Quite a crushed stone, chalky powdery texture, but it’s soft and not harsh at all. Has all the markings of a lovely wine and the tannins will soften over ageing. I like it. 4% Petit Verdot completes the blend. Drinking window: 2034-2050. (Georgina Hindle,decanter.com)
