Château Siran 2025

Supple and so smooth, really controlled, creamy and juicy with a tangy bite to the cranberry acidity giving a complex and complete expression. Plump, chewy with lots of energy and focus and a long, mineral-liquorice edged finish. Great stuff. It’s definitely on the cool side, there’s no overt opulence or hedonism but there’s sure refinement and enjoyment to be had. Drinking window: 2029-2038. (Georgina Hindle,decanter.com)
