Château Trotanoy 2025

The 2025 Trotanoy was picked September 1 to 19 and matured in 50% new oak. This is quite powerful on the nose, almost pastille-like purity with black cherries and cassis scents, although I would not say it belongs in the top drawer of aromatics from this estate. The palate is very smooth thanks to its cashmere tannins. Perfectly judged acidity, very poised, very harmonious and deep towards the finish, this Pomerol finishes on a real high and delivers exactly what you want from one of the best Pomerol estates.
