Tawse Riesling Icewine VQA 2023

Clean and fresh on the nose, this is precisely rendered, sound and chiselled icewine, comfortable and stress free. Flavours resemble apricot and quince jam, with wonderfully sapid and saliva-inducing, almost saline character, saltwater toffee and crème brulée. It’s very sweet to be sure, but not heavy thanks to vibrant acids. Length is excellent. Drink or hold into the early ’30s, or beyond – the landing strip will be long. Tasted March 2025. Score – 94.
