Ascheri Barolo 2020

This elegant red is light on its feet yet offers very present flavors of strawberry, cherry and rose hip, plus a touch of tar. Lacy in texture, with refined tannins and a lingering, juicy finish. Best from 2026 through 2040. Score – 91. (Bruce Sanderson, winespectator.com, Nov. 30, 2024)
