Ascheri Sorano Barolo 2021

The Matteo Ascheri 2021 Barolo Sorano is my favorite wine in this flight of four. Wines from Serralunga d’Alba always perform well in classic vintages such as this. The Sorano shows the best depth and focus in my estimation. You get black fruit, dried tobacco and sweet tea leaf. Drink date: 2026-2040. (Monica Larner,robertparker.com,Jan. 30, 2025)
