Casas del Bosque Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva from Cachapoal Valley was aged in 10% new barrels for 12 months. Garnet red in hue. The ripe, fruit-forward nose offers blackcurrant and pyrazine aromas with hints of licorice and black tea over a layer of camphor and menthol. Smooth in feel with round, polished tannins, mild freshness and bold flavor. It ends with a cleansing finish. Drinking window: 2023-2032. Score – 90. (Joaquín Hidalgo, vinous.com, June 6, 2023)
