Château Chantalouette 2025

Bright and herbal edged red fruit and cool blue fruit on the nose – lots of clarity and purity. Supple and succulent, quite a clean and fresh style, unfussy, not layered, not massively plump but there’s a soft grip. Tannins are well worked with mouthwatering acidity. It’s a little tight still at this moment to be expected but there’s clarity and focus and a grip which lasts and lasts. I really like the overall cool element, well textured, nothing out of place just a little firm right now with liquorice, tobacco, black chocolate, cola and flint. 3.65pH. A yield of 25hl/ha.
