Château Corbin 2025

Blueberries and milk chocolate with wild hedgerow notes on the nose, crisp and cool. Creamy and juicy on the palate, both a round and smooth texture as well as bright acidity giving quite a complete expression. Still a touch quiet and firm but there’s a lovely spiced grip from the Cabernets and round mouthfeel from the Merlot. I like this, it’s really not trying too hard. Not overly acidic either, a little bit more plump but not at all fleshy. Ends stony with a graphite and clove edge. Ageing 12 months in oak, 35% new. Drinking window: 2029-2045.
