Château de Belcier 2016

Chocolate, licorice and plums. Some mint and candied violets. Intensely juicy and full-bodied on the palate with pure dark fruit and lots of new wood. Big and structured with firm, yet ripe tannins that still need some time to soften. Drink from 2017 [until 2025]. (jamessuckling.com,Feb. 16, 2013)
