Clos Marsalette 2025

A more classic, restrained expression with less overtly expressive fruit than some peers. The aromatics hint at dark berries and meadow like freshness with floral notes, but remain somewhat muted. The palate is composed and balanced, with somewhat tight tannins. I could have used a bit more generosity and charm, but a solid, traditionally styled wine that should broaden with barrel ageing.
