Isabel Ferrando Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2024

Based on 65% Grenache, 20% Cinsault, 10% Mourvèdre, and 5% Syrah, with 30% whole cluster for the Grenache and 40% for the Cinsault, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape is vinified in concrete and aged in barrels, demi-muids, and foudre, with the Cinsault brought up in amphora. It has a Vosne-Romanée-like nose of ripe cherries and darker berries, intermixed with spring flowers, orange blossom, and peppery herbs. Pure and medium to full-bodied, it has a seamless, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a gorgeous finish that will shine right out of the gate. (jebdunnuck.com,Nov. 11, 2025)
