Madonna della Querce Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2018

Dark and youthfully coy, the 2018 Nobile Madonna della Querce slowly evolves in the glass with a rose-tinged bouquet of crushed blackberries, cloves and shavings of cedar. It’s silky and supple on the palate. A fruit purity shines, casting ripe plum and cherry across a core of brilliant acidity. The acidity is on point, adding a zesty freshness despite the 2018’s grippy tannins. Licorice and a tart berry concentration slowly fade.
