Montes Purple Angel 2007

This wonderful red is developing terrifically in the bottle with lavender, rosemary, violet and blueberry aromas that follow through to a full body, ultra-fine tannins and a gorgeous tannin, fruit tension. Hints of iodine and oyster shell make this ever so complex with some lead pencil too. A great red. A blend of 92% carmenere and 8% petit verdot. Drink now. Score – 97.
