Poggio al Tesoro Sondraia Bolgheri Superiore 2020

Blackcurrants, violets, pine needles, bark, and dark chocolate. Medium- to full-bodied with refined and polished tannins and a long and beautiful finish. The finish is fantastic with a crunchy character and hints of dark chocolate. Best after 2025 but already a joy to taste. [This will cellar into the late 2030s.] Score – 97.
