Poggio San Polo Riserva Brunello di Montalcino 2018

Intense and open nose of oranges, orange peel, wild strawberries and peonies with balsamic depth. Full-bodied with very good fruit concentration, lifted acidity and large grained tannins. Still youthful but sweet. Best from 2028. Score – 97. (jamessuckling.com, May 24, 2024)
