The single-vineyard Ca’ del Merlo red blend brings together local and international grape varieties. Some of the fruit is pressed immediately after harvest, some is dried for two months, and the entirety of the wine undergoes a ripasso-style second fermentation on Amarone lees before spending several years in Slavonian oak. Expect complex fresh and dried berry embroidered with cocoa, tar and spice. Drink through 2033+.
