The Sassotondo 2021 Maremma Toscana Ciliegiolo San Lorenzo is polished and firm, with crunchy fruit and terrific intensity. There is a lasting sense of sharpness here that comes across with cherry, blackcurrant and crushed rose. To the palate, the wine offers a lean, polished and very elegant mouthfeel.
