13th Street June’s Vineyard Riesling 2024

This impressive single-vineyard offering comes from the Alsatian clone 49 rather than the Germanic Weis 21B clone that dominates Ontario’s Riesling. A deep cut into local wine geekery perhaps, but one that explains the wine’s pronounced, elevated florals, which are characteristic of the Alsatian clone. This tangy wine shows peach, pear, lime and mineral. Sip, or try it with white fish and green salads.
