Château Filhot 2025

The 2025 Filhot was tasted twice, the first bottle in Sauternes did not really do anything. On retasting at a merchant, I was pleased to find a superior example. Pretty honey and apricot scents mingle with saffron and quince. The palate shows more delineation and weight and, whilst not the most complex Sauternes, I see much more promise here.
